Report Phishing Emails

Reports from the general public can be processed by APWG members and re-lodged on the APWG's eCrime eXchange as a high-confidence data record, the gold standard for automated responses to cybercrime maintained by APWG members.

Report Phishing Emails Here to Warn the World

If you have received a suspicious or obviously malicious email you can forward those to APWG for analysis and archiving on the APWG eCrime eXchange.

The best way to do this is to simply forward the suspected phishing email to reportphishing@apwg.org

Forwarding suspected phishing emails to APWG contributes to fraud and crime prevention services to protect users and track criminal activity.

By submitting information to reportphishing@apwg.org you give APWG permission to save the email in its entirety for these purposes.

All data is handled responsibly and under contract with the APWG vetted member community.

CYBERCRIME REPORTER TIP: If your email clients supports the option to “Forward As Attachment,” please use it – with all due alacrity and elan – as this will provide APWG’s systems with more detail for our member institutions to trace and monitor these phishing websites.
