07 Jul Members’ Webinar: Cybercrime Trends due to COVID-19
Current Cybercrime Trends due to COVID-19
When: July 29, 2020 11:00 EDT
APWG invites you to our first members-only COVID-19 Cybercrime webinar. The program will examine how the pandemic has affected phishing and cybercrime overall. Presenters will detail the criminal techniques that have evolved to exploit the special conditions of life and commerce in a time of pandemic – and examine responses to prevent and respond to COVID-19 related attacks. A panel Q&A will follow presentations with a final conclusion from our presenters.
The program also provides an important opportunity for APWG’s membership to discuss the institution’s priorities in responding to the unprecedented challenges attendant life in a time of pandemic – in terms of developing data resources / logistics for members as well as APWG’s policy positions and program plans at this time. Schedule an hour and a half – but be prepared for discussions to go long, as usual.
